The canyon was full of fun and craziness today! All of the groups had a fun-packed day as we are getting ready to finish the end of the session tomorrow. Two groups went on a picnic hike up Fowler Trail, which was very fun. Fred Rocked the 80’s didn’t go on the picnic hike but they were busy fishing (They actually saw a fly fisherman catch a fish and they were able to pet it), and doing relay races. Lunch came as fast as it went, and after lunch all of the groups made their book pages for the Mountain Day Camp book.
After some GORP for snack, the campers got to surprise their counselors with dressing them up as crazy as they could for a fashion show! The counselors strutted their stuff on the runway, and it was a tie in the end for who was the craziest. We left the canyon a few minutes early today because of the rain and lightning, but even so, the weather didn’t damper our moods. We are excited to end this session with a bang, and we are very excited to see everyone tomorrow!
